This is where the original itinerary begins: at Quinta de Vale Abraão in Samodães, Lamego. A 19th-century house between the river, gardens and vineyards, with contemporary interiors and room to stay awhile.

INHABIT THE VALLEY
Rooms, suites and villas offer different ways to inhabit the house. The photograph shows a Quinta River accommodation; your room type, view and number of nights will be specified before booking.

BODY & REST
The spa brings together a heated indoor pool, treatment rooms and spaces for movement. Treatments will be selected with the property’s team, respecting preferences and availability.

Vale de Abraão and Summer Garden were already part of the original itinerary. The garden, Open Kitchen and Wine Library connect food, wine and hospitality without turning every encounter into a transfer.
Summer Garden is seasonal: the hotel lists opening from June to September. The 2027 format will be adapted to the edition’s dates.

WINE THROUGH ITS ORIGINS
Crasto and Vale Meão lead two approaches to wine. Pacheca opens up a creative gesture. Around the table, the territory continues to reveal itself. Tastings are optional, with alcohol-free alternatives to be arranged.

Accommodation, room category, arrival point and transfers will be described in the proposal. Seven days is the starting point for this edition.
It will specify meals, estate visits, workshops, wellbeing sessions and WCE accompaniment, distinguishing included services from optional ones.
Price, flights, insurance, personal expenses, payment and cancellation terms will be clarified before any booking. An enquiry creates no payment obligation.
BEFORE YOU TRAVEL
The 2027 edition is in preparation, with a proposed seven-day programme. Exact departure dates, availability and price have not yet been announced.
No. Wine is part of the cultural narrative, and tastings are optional. Tell us your preferences so alcohol-free alternatives can be arranged with the hosts.
No previous experience is expected. Gentle movement and moments of attention are part of the concept; participation and adaptations will be discussed with the practitioners.
